March 2022

March 1, 2022

A message from our teachers:

How is it already March?

As winter comes to a close and spring begins, our thoughts turn toward all things growing, the turning of the seasons, and the changes in the weather.

This month we will continue to explore the theme of family, friendship, and pets. Our dollhouse, little people, and furniture has been a popular station lately and we will expand this area into the month of March. An interest in ocean animals began in February and we will explore this theme further in March as well. With St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th we will shine a spotlight on the colour green, explore rainbows, and perhaps search for hidden treasure. Wherever the children’s interests lead, we will follow!

With our annual art show just around the corner, all of the children will continue to create works of art for our 2022 exhibit! Get ready for a colourful experience! We are working with fabric, yarn, string, wire, beads and wood.
