Message From Our Teachers

Happy New Year to all of our families on behalf of your teachers!

We sincerely hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and enjoyable winter break. It is hard to believe that we are already ushering in 2023. Where has the time gone? The first four months of preschool have flown by!

In January we are excited to have a visitor in our 3’s and 4’s classes! Owl Orphaned Wildlife (OWL) is a non profit society dedicated to the survival of raptors. They rescue, rehabilitate and release. The society also has an interactive educational component and will visit us this month on January 11th and 12th!

This month we also look forward to our art gallery visit and spending time in our new sandbox in the forest yard! The children’s curiosity and enjoyment  in dressing up and pretend play as doctors and nurses and veterinarians will continue until the children are no longer showing interest. Soon we will begin creating art for our upcoming spring art exhibit. Thank you all for a wonderful first four months of preschool. 2022 was amazing and we cannot wait to share, grow, play and learn together in the months ahead.

In the month of January we will host a practicum student Sarah Bellamy.

Sarah is an alumni of QPP having attended as a student when she was a young child! Sarah will be with us for her 1st practicum. We really look forward to supporting her education journey and acting as mentors and encouragers. Thank you for helping Sarah feel welcome.

With gratitude and warmth,
your teachers Ms. Donna, Ms. Heidi, Ms. Henda and Ms. Natalie
